The Authenticity of Mobilier MEQ
Since 1987, Mobilier MEQ has been offering authentic Quebec furniture. We have built a solid reputation, one piece of furniture at a time. Initially a manufacturer of wall units and coffee tables made of melamine and laminate panels, our expertise has quickly taken on new dimensions.
Only one year after our founding, in 1988, we added to our services the manufacturing of bedroom sets in the same materials. Over the decades, the team has grown and today we are 40 people offering you the best service and furniture!

The Rise of Ameublement Design MB
Ameublement Design MB came into being in 2013, founded by two Bellechasse entrepreneurs, Dany Marquis and Nicolas Breton, hence the “MB” in the company's name. At the time, Dany was the operations manager at a furniture company, while Nicolas taught cabinetmaking.
Their shared passion for furniture led them to quit their respective jobs to launch a company specializing in the manufacture of kitchens and bathrooms.
A few months later, demand for commercial furniture quickly surfaced. Major players in the sector believed in their potential and gave them the opportunity to prove their expertise. Today, we're proud to continue working with these long-standing customers.
A Strategic Merger for a Diversified Offering
In 2019, a third partner, Frédéric Robichaud, joined the adventure to help make this shared dream a reality. Then, in 2020, the three partners also became owners of Mobilier MEQ Ltée, expanding their product range.
In addition to kitchen, bathroom and commercial furniture, they have expanded their offering to include bedroom and living room furniture. More than 10 years after it was founded, Ameublement Design MB is proud to offer new products, high quality and impeccable service to its customers.
